Home Stage was created in 2013 by New York City based photographer David Perkins. It began as a simple way to continue photographing dancers without spending all the rent money on a studio space.
Since its initial release in the summer of 2015, Home Stage has taken the world by storm. It has been published in numerous international publications and was featured as the main theme for the International Dance Festival in Poland, Open Stage.
The Home Stage Project captures not only the elegance, strength, and beauty of dancers, but it also allows a glimpse into their personal lives off stage.
